Lab27 is hosting a special event on December 3 dedicated to landscape photography. It will be an opportunity to engage in a conversation with Giovanni Cecchinato about the ways we can relate to the territory, exploring its signs, features, elements, and stories. There will be space to discuss and reflect together on your intentions, projects, and motivations. And why not, browse some books from our library to appreciate a range of possible approaches to storytelling in landscape photography, including Alemagna. Luoghi e Paesaggi lungo la SS51 and Clodia Inspecta by the same author. Free entry, we start at 4:30 PM—see you there! The event coincides with the Sunday finissage (from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM) of the exhibition In mezzo all’immensa steppa.
Giovanni Cecchinato’s research investigates the transformations of the Italian landscape. He combines his professional and artistic practice with work as an organizer and curator of cultural photography events in collaboration with the Centro Culturale Candiani in Mestre. He is the coordinator of the editorial project La serena inquietudine del territorio, which reflects on the evolution of landscapes and territories in Veneto and throughout Italy.
