On Analog Practices and Self-Publishing. At the Table with Nicola Cappellari and Lorenzo Ferraro

On October 22, Lab27 is hosting a special event with Nicola Cappellari and Lorenzo Ferraro, two self-taught photographers who share a sincere passion for analog photography and darkroom printing.
A round-table discussion will begin at 4:30 pm, and participants are invited to bring their questions and curiosities, as well as their ideas, intentions, and ongoing projects. There will be time for open exchange and dialogue in a convivial atmosphere—welcoming their stories, viewing their prints, sharing in the alchemy of the photographic process, and learning about techniques, insights, and possibilities.
Both artists have recently self-published a book that offers an important glimpse into their photographic vision. This meeting is therefore an opportunity to talk about the dreams we sometimes keep tucked away in a drawer, and about the challenges involved in editing and publishing a collection of photographs.
