As part of the exhibition “Tra il bianco e il nero (Between Black and White)”, Lab27 will host a meeting on Sunday, October 27, at 4:30 PM with the talented photographer Filippo Barbero. His work focuses on communities, particularly rural ones, exploring the sense of belonging and the concept of place. The photographer’s gaze emphasizes respect for the rhythms of nature, growth, and family bonds, as well as a profound awareness and consideration for other living beings, which are respected and cared for according to the physiological, cyclical, and natural rhythms of life. As the artist writes: “It is precisely that cyclical nature, the same one Proust speaks of, that helps reveal truth and beauty, but at the same time the darker side of things, creating a dual perception of reality that leads to greater self-awareness.”
