Lab27 will host a talk on Sunday, April 19 at 4:30 PM with documentary photographer Francesco Giusti, one of the artists featured in the current exhibition “Non c’è due senza tre”.
The event will be an opportunity to reflect on the role of photography in portraying social emergencies and uncomfortable realities, questioning the meaning of “looking” and taking a stand through the lens. In a complex historical moment marked by tensions and global crises, the discussion will focus on the responsibility of photographers in documenting reality.
During the talk, Giusti will also present his recent work in the West Bank, carried out with the Prospekt agency, aimed at documenting daily events on the ground and supporting the work of local photographers.

Bio
Francesco Giusti (Italy, 1969) is a documentary photographer who explores social, contemporary, and identity-related dynamics through long-term projects, photojournalistic essays, and portraits. He has worked in Africa, Europe, the Mediterranean region, the Caribbean, and Latin America, receiving major international awards such as World Press Photo and the Prix de la Critique in Arles. His work has been exhibited in leading international festivals and institutions and published in numerous newspapers and magazines. Alongside his photographic practice, he leads workshops in various countries and collaborates with Prospekt Photographers.
