On November 5, Lab27 is hosting a special event to mark the Sunday opening (from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm) of the exhibition “In the Midst of the Immense Steppe.”
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet master printer Michele Mattiello and spend the afternoon experiencing photography as a tangible, material practice. There will be time to explore different papers and the many printing possibilities, as well as to view the rich photo archive, which includes works by more than twenty artists exhibited at Lab27 to date, in a variety of formats and solutions.
Finally—and above all—this is an opportunity to BRING YOUR OWN PRINTS and your curiosity, to discuss them together and off the screen! And, why not, learn something new.
