On May 19, Lab27 will host a meeting with Dionisio Gavagnin, a scholar of modern art and photography, whose collection is among the most remarkable at an international level. Numerous works from his collection have been exhibited multiple times by major museums in Italy and abroad. He will be in conversation with Steve Bisson, with whom he curated the exhibition “From Atget to Basilico: Archaeology in Seeing” in Treviso, open until May 26. This is an opportunity to explore a significant history of collecting and to understand its evolution in relation to modern and contemporary photography.
