A graduate in screenwriting from the National Film School in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Pisuk has written the TV comedy <\/span><em>Stars and the Fate of Man<\/em><span> and a screenplay about Jacek Kuro\u0144. His writings have appeared in <\/span><em>brulion<\/em><span> and in the anthology <\/span><em>You Have Your Own Poets<\/em><span>. The series on display, \u201cUnder the Skin,\u201d began shortly after Pisuk moved to the Praga district on the right bank of the Vistula River in Warsaw, Poland, with the aim of producing a photographic documentation of the district\u2019s \u201csocial landscape.\u201d By approaching its inhabitants and venturing into spaces other photographers dared not explore, <\/span><em>Under the Skin<\/em><span> offers a sensitive and dramatic portrait of the neighborhood. Rione Sanit\u00e0 is a place of love and solitude, irony and tragedy, faith and sin, delicacy and tribalism, harmonious melodies and jarring screams. These contrasts create surreal existences.<\/span><br \/><span>The tuff quarries, like a placental sac, shelter this union of worlds, isolating it from the rest of the city and preserving the authenticity of human life. He authored the screenplay for Leszek Dawid\u2019s film <\/span><em>You Are God<\/em><span>, previously published as a book by Wydawnictwo Krytyka Polityczna. He lives in Warsaw. A graduate in screenwriting from the National Film School in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Pisuk has written the TV comedy <\/span><em>Stars and the Fate of Man<\/em><span> and a screenplay about Jacek Kuro\u0144. His writings have appeared in <\/span><em>brulion<\/em><span> and in the anthology <\/span><em>You Have Your Own Poets<\/em><span>. The series on display, \u201cUnder the Skin,\u201d began shortly after Pisuk moved to the Praga district on the right bank of the Vistula River in Warsaw, Poland, with the aim of producing a photographic documentation of the district\u2019s \u201csocial landscape.\u201d By approaching its inhabitants and venturing into spaces other photographers dared not explore, <\/span><em>Under the Skin<\/em><span> offers a sensitive and dramatic portrait of the neighborhood.
