<strong>Steve Bisson<\/strong> and <strong>Patrizia Boschiero<\/strong>, dedicated to exploring the possible dialogue between landscape and contemporary photography.<\/p><p>At the center of the discussion are three editorial case studies that have examined, through distinct methodologies and styles, the territories, histories, and visions of Northern Italy. These landscapes are sometimes marked by contradictions and environmental degradation, yet they are also rich with potential for creative interventions connected to observation and its reception.<\/p><p>On <strong>Thursday, October 21 at 6:00 PM<\/strong>, <em>La Terra di Sotto<\/em> (<em>The Land Below<\/em>, Penisola Edizioni, 2020) will be presented: a book that explores some of the worst cases of pollution in Northern Italy. The journey takes the reader from <strong>Turin to Venice<\/strong>, passing through <strong>Milan, Brescia, Verona, and Vicenza<\/strong>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Amid contaminated sites, landfills, and the pervasive presence of organized crime, the project employs photography, investigative journalism, cartography, and academic research to offer an unprecedented vision of the landscape of productive Northern Italy. These landscapes are sometimes marked by contradictions and environmental degradation, yet they are also rich with potential for creative interventions connected to observation and its reception.<\/p><p>On <strong>Thursday, October 21 at 6:00 PM<\/strong>, <em>La Terra di Sotto<\/em> (<em>The Land Below<\/em>, Penisola Edizioni, 2020) will be presented: a book that explores some of the worst cases of pollution in Northern Italy. The journey takes the reader from <strong>Turin to Venice<\/strong>, passing through <strong>Milan, Brescia, Verona, and Vicenza<\/strong>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Amid contaminated sites, landfills, and the pervasive presence of organized crime, the project employs photography, investigative journalism, cartography, and academic research to offer an unprecedented vision of the landscape of productive Northern Italy.
