These structures were located on land provided by their employers, with no assistance, shelter, or services. The guiding concept of the project highlights how African architecture draws on its traditions to demonstrate remarkable adaptability, particularly in adverse environmental conditions, while maintaining originality, creativity, and, above all, dignity. The central idea is balance: far from aesthetic conventions, the architecture reflects an intimate, coherent order and a harmonious unity of parts\u2014an elegant response to an evidently inhumane living condition.<\/p><p>For Bruna Ginammi, photography is art, and everything is a portrait. In 1991, she published the book \u2018Lo sguardo del Poeta\u2019, collecting portraits of the most prominent Italian poets of the 20th century. In 1995, she won the European Kodak Prize at the Rencontres d\u2019Arles with the project \u2018La decomposizione della materia\u2019, curated by Daniela Palazzoli\u2014a series of portraits capturing transformation and the passage of time, where mold becomes a measure of constant change.<\/p><p>That same year, she participated in the exhibition \u2018Un secolo di Ritratto Fotografico in Italia\u2019 (1985\u20131995), curated by Italo Zannier at the Venice Biennale, Italy Pavilion. Between 1995 and 1998, she produced a body of work on Italian family intimacy, later published in 2003 in the book \u2018Famiglie\u2019 (A+Mbookstore, Milan).<\/p><p>From 1993 to 1996, Ginammi documented the destruction and reconstruction of the Milan Contemporary Art Pavilion\u2014a project later revisited in the volume \u2018Il tempo, l\u2019architettura e l\u2019uomo\u2019, with Roberta Valtorta and Lucia Matino, curated by Philippe Daverio (A+Mbookstore, 1996).<\/p><p>In 2015, her works were acquired by the <strong>Donata Pizzi Collection<\/strong>. These structures were located on land provided by their employers, with no assistance, shelter, or services. The guiding concept of the project highlights how African architecture draws on its traditions to demonstrate remarkable adaptability, particularly in adverse environmental conditions, while maintaining originality, creativity, and, above all, dignity. The central idea is balance: far from aesthetic conventions, the architecture reflects an intimate, coherent order and a harmonious unity of parts\u2014an elegant response to an evidently inhumane living condition.<\/p><p>For Bruna Ginammi, photography is art, and everything is a portrait. In 1991, she published the book \u2018Lo sguardo del Poeta\u2019, collecting portraits of the most prominent Italian poets of the 20th century. In 1995, she won the European Kodak Prize at the Rencontres d\u2019Arles with the project \u2018La decomposizione della materia\u2019, curated by Daniela Palazzoli\u2014a series of portraits capturing transformation and the passage of time, where mold becomes a measure of constant change.<\/p><p>That same year, she participated in the exhibition \u2018Un secolo di Ritratto Fotografico in Italia\u2019 (1985\u20131995), curated by Italo Zannier at the Venice Biennale, Italy Pavilion. Between 1995 and 1998, she produced a body of work on Italian family intimacy, later published in 2003 in the book \u2018Famiglie\u2019 (A+Mbookstore, Milan).<\/p><p>From 1993 to 1996, Ginammi documented the destruction and reconstruction of the Milan Contemporary Art Pavilion\u2014a project later revisited in the volume \u2018Il tempo, l\u2019architettura e l\u2019uomo\u2019, with Roberta Valtorta and Lucia Matino, curated by Philippe Daverio (A+Mbookstore, 1996).<\/p><p>In 2015, her works were acquired by the <strong>Donata Pizzi Collection<\/strong>.
